Use of Irony:In this poem The poet uses Irony when he says “What should it know of death?” .Irony is when the real meaning is exactly opposite to what is said

Use Of Imagery:The poet Uses Imagery when he describer the girl as having a rustic woodland air and being wildly clad and fair.

Use of Alliteration :The poet uses alliteration when he narrates the girl saying “Their graves are green, they may be seen” Here The consonant G is repeated twice

Use of Run on lineThe poet uses the poetic device run on line when he narrates the girl saying

“I take my little porringer,

And eat my supper there”
